Today I’m spending all day with the Youth Homes staff in Missoula . . . talking about strengths-based approaches to suicide. Should be fun, or at least as fun as a day of talking about suicide can be . . . Happy Friday, and here are the ppts!

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for your generosity. I work with CYP in, or bordering on entering the care system in the UK. I really appreciate your work. Best wishes Jo

Hi Agnes,
You’re welcome.
The SLAP acronym is used to recall key features of evaluating a client’s suicide plan. S = Specificity of the Plan. L = Lethality. A = Availability of the means. P = Proximity of social support.
Have a great day.
John
